On Saturday, April 25, 2020, Carole Elizabeth (Grove) Martin, age 78, formerly of Avalon, passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford. A graduate of St. Benedict Academy, she loved the Rosary, Eat’n Park, old musicals, Disney movies, and most of all her family. She was preceded in death by Edward, her beloved husband of 56 years, and her sister Eileen Walsh. She is survived by brother Robert (Janice) Grove of Chippewa, son David (Rhonda) Martin of Pleasant Hills, daughter Lisa (Seth) Porter of Ross, three grandchildren and three great-nieces who were grandchildren in her heart, as well as a large, loving extended family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 11 AM in St. Boniface Church, North Side.
