Weldey Joseph Aucoin

Weldey Aucoin, 85, a native of Pierre Part and resident of Belle River, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017. Weldey is survived by his wife, Leona Gros Aucoin; two daughter, Donna Templet (Clint) and Wendy Aucoin; two sons, Tracy Aucoin (Tonya) and Ronald Aucoin (Sonya); one daughter-in-law, Tammy Aucoin; nine grand-children, Travis Aucoin (Alisha), Monique Aucoin, Heather Alleman (Scott), Cody Aucoin, Amy Cavalier (Beau), Gavin Templet, Kayla Metrejean (Nick), Hailey Melancon (Ryan) and Taylor Aucoin; ten great grandchildren, Candence, Ashlyn and Joseph Aucoin, Jules Joiner, Scottielyn and Karlee Alleman, Harper Cavalier, Korie and Emmie Meterjean and Charlee Melancon; three sisters, Mable Pipsair (Douglas), Ann Landry and Lois Hebert (Aldwyn); three brothers, Donald Aucoin (Helen), Davis Aucoin (Trudy) and Harry Aucoin (Helen). He is preceded in death his son, Barry Aucoin, great grandson Hunter Aucoin, parents, Walter and Essie Blanchard Aucoin; two sisters, Wennie Landry and Mary Borne and two brothers, Joe Aucoin and Roy Aucoin. Pallbearers will be Ronald Aucoin, Tracy Aucoin, Travis Aucoin, Cody Aucoin, Clint Templet and Gavin Templet. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 8am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
