Sonya Theriot Vaughn

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Sonya adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Sonya loved going to the casino, eating Chinese, and spoiling her dog, Max.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of five years, Gary Vaughn; one son, DeJay Lamperez and wife, Abby; one step daughter, Beth Vaughn; four grandchildren, Tyler Vaughn, Maddison Chedotal, Kai Crochet, and AJay Lamperez; one sister, Nancy Hebert; one brother-in-law, NJ Cavalier; one godchild, Jenny Daigle and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Milda Theriot; one sister, Patricia Cavalier and one brother-in-law, Bobby Hebert.

A memorial service will be held at Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship located at 101 Tiffany Drive in Patterson on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 10am followed by a Celebration of Life at her godchild Jenny's house in Pierre Part.
