Sidney Joseph Aucoin

Sidney was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He had a passion for the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, and gardening. He adored his family especially his grandbabies.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his five children, Anna Sanchez (Frank), Darlene Hue (Charles Sr.,), Belinda Rivere (Alton), Ricky Aucoin Sr. (Kammie), and Karen Aucoin (Demetrious); fourteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and his two siblings, Percy Aucoin and Bercy Landry.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Velma Aucoin; two daughters, Aimee Hebert and Melinda Aucoin; parents, Lovaucie and Ida Aucoin and one sister, Louise Templet.

The family would like to thank Dr. Keith Landry and his staff for their care and support.

A visitation will held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 8am until Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker at 12pm with burial in the church cemetery.
