Roy Paul Theriot, a native and resident of Pierre Part, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Heritage Manor in Napoleonville. He was 92. He was a retired pipefitter/insulator for the Local #102, and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, 2014, 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 3, 2014, 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at the Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, with Rev. Al Davidson, celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years; Levie Gaudet Theriot, 2 daughters; Gail Hue and husband Lennet, and Faye Ruiz, 1 son; Perry Theriot and wife Wanda, a brother; A J Theriot, 7 grandchildren; Connie Daigle and Chad Reine, Clint and Jared Hue, Carmen, Crystal and Vince Ruiz, 7 great grandchildren; Dawson Blanchard, Brock Landry, Jr. Brayden Causey, Sage Reine, Paxton Daigle, Ally and Rylee Hue.
Pallbearers will be; Warren Daigle, Jr., Chad Reine, Clint Hue, Lennet Hue, Perry Theriot, Jared Hue, and Marty Berthelot.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Claiborne and Nolia Giroir Theriot, a sister; Isabelle Politz, 2 brothers; Wilbert Theriot, Alvin Theriot, and a son-in-law; Ronald Ruiz.
