Roy Joseph LeBlanc Jr., lifelong resident of Pierre Part, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Assumption Health and Rehab. He was 68 and a retired Operations Manager. Roy enjoyed spending time with family, he loved going on vacations and trips to the casino. He loved being known as “Uncle Roy” to many. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Amanda Blanchard LeBlanc; son, Jude LeBlanc; sister, Sheryl Turley; brother, Ronnie LeBlanc and wife, Nina; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; four godchildren; and four precious girls whom he held dear to his heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Noelie LeBlanc. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part from 5 pm to 9 pm and again on Tuesday morning from 8 am until a Remembrance Service at 10:15 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at 11 am, Rev. Al Davidson, officiating. Entombment to follow in the church mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Gary Landry, Mervin LeBlanc, Rudy Blanchard, Adrian Landry, Shelby Gaudet Sr., Jordy Blanchard, Jared Blanchard and Matthew Turley. We want to thank Dr. Keith Landry, Dr. Burke Brooks, Dr. Rais, Dr. Hasting, Dr. Chester Weimer, Oschner Hospital, Thibodaux Regional, and Assumption Healthcare and Rehab for their wonderful care.
