Philip “Fox” Landry, 85, a native and resident of Pierre Part, LA passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2019. Fox worked as a tug boat caption for several years for Settoon Towing. He enjoyed watching old Western Cowboy shows and being outside. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving partner in life of 40 years, Dora Landry; three daughters, Linda Landry, Teri Landry and Lena Landry; one son, Perry Landry; 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Jonell and Warren Blanchard, Susan Landry, Bobby and Tonya Landry, Faye Prejean, Charlene and Pete Palermo, Dorraine Breaux, Judy and Don Landry and 20 great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alcide and Aureline Landry; two sisters, Ella Landry Robert and Odette Landry; two brothers, Ulyesse “Slim” Landry and Noe Landry; one step son, Preston Landry and grandson Christopher Blanchard. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church mausoleum.
