Oscar A. Alleman a native and resident of Pierre Part passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Heritage Manor in Napoleonville. He was 95. Mr. Alleman was a retired tug boat captain and was an avid hunter and fisherman and had owned a turtle farm for many years.
Visitation will be Monday, June 30, 2014 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday July 1, 2014 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday July 1, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church with Rev. Al Davidson, celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph the Worker Cemetery under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part.
Survivors include his brother; Edgar Alleman, Sr., 2 sisters; Gladys Dupuis and Mabel Ourso, 48 nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Edward Alleman, Sr., and Clare Daigle Alleman, 6 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 nieces.
