Milton Moise Boudreaux

Milton Moise Boudreaux, 85, resident of Pierre Part and native of Brusly St. Martin, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Milton proudly served his country as a Sergeant (E-5) during the Korean Conflict. He was a 60 year member of the Landry-Domingue American Legion Post 328 in Pierre Part and a life member of the VFW Post 4222. His greatest joys were spending time with his family and friends, going to the Council on Aging, and tending to his garden and wood duck boxes.

He is survived by his four children: Judy Theriot (Gordon), Kathy B. Gaudet, Kenny Boudreaux (Tammy) and Mark Boudreaux (Lena); caregiver and former daughter in law, Wendy Blanchard; his grandchildren, Dusty Landry, Joey Theriot, Nicole Castagnos, Chelsea Miles, Brandon, Stephanie, Jenni, and Juli Boudreaux; his four legged grandchildren, Rex, Boi, and Jake; great grandchildren, Haylie, Hagen, Allie, Jacob, Brynlee, Sara, Emily, Adalyn, Brayden, Keegan, Daxx, and Aubrey; great-great grandson, Jayce; sisters, Royce Dufour and Anna Mayet (Sylvester); brothers, Orien, Robert (Peggy), and Ulysse Boudreaux (Mary); brother in law, Philip Mabile; and sisters in law, Mary Acosta ad Vivian Cavalier.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Edith M. Boudreaux; parents, Richard and Violet Boudreax; brother, Roland Boudreaux; and sister, Helen B. Guillot; mother and father in law, Joseph Mabile, Sr, and Ada Mabile.

Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 5 pm to 9 pm and will resume on Tuesday from 8 am until 10:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Pierre Part at 11 am. Rev. Al Davidson officiating. Entombment in the church mausoleum to follow.

Pallbearers will be Mark Boudreaux, Kenny Boudreaux, Gordon Theriot, Brandon Boudreaux, Joey Theriot, Brian Castagnos, and Trevor Falcon.
