

Leo was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He never met a stranger and was friends with everyone. Leo had an amazing sense of humor and always made everyone around laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his family, rabbit hunting with his beagles, and cutting not only his grass but everyone elses. Leo honorably served in the Army and retired after thirty five years as a Linemen with LP&L/Entergy.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory companion, Geneva Gros; two sons, Kirk Gros and Donald Gros; three grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Justin Miller, and Michael Gros; three great grandchildren, Madison Miller, Brayden Miller, and Bentley Miller, and one brother, EJ Gros.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Gros; one daughter, Donna LeBlanc; parents, Charlie and Bernadette Gros; four siblings, Raymond Gros, Rita Fontenot, Norma Deslatte, and Norris Gros Sr.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 8:30am until 12pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville at 1pm. Burial in the church cemetery.
