Kenneth Paul Acosta

Kenneth “Kenny” Paul Acosta, 47, a native of Morgan City and resident of Pierre Part, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017. Kenneth loved hunting and fishing. He is survived by his two sons, Toby and Jonathan Acosta; one expected grandchild; parents, Jeffery and Virgis Acosta and one sister, Melissa and husband, Russell Rivere Jr. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Toby and Ethel Acosta and Gibson and Cerelia Landry and his godfather, Wilbert J. “Shebe” Landry. Pallbearers will be: Toby Acosta, Jonathan Acosta, Russell Rivere Jr., Phillip Edwards Jr., Trampus Borne and Jeffery Hawkins. The family would like to thank the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office and Pierre Part Volunteer Fire Department and First Responders. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part, on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 5 pm to 10 pm and Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 8 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church on Tuesday, Mach 7, 2017.
