Jerry was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was an avid fisherman who made a career out of doing what he loved most. Jerry enjoyed doing carpenter work, hunting, fishing but most of all, shrimping. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Jerry was a man of few words but always made sure his family was taken care of.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his three children, Jacob Breaux (Hilary), Jarred Breaux and Jerilyn Scully (Cory); six grandchildren, Michele Wray (Hunter), Heather Breaux, Joshua Breaux, Janie Breaux, Cayne Scully and Reaghan Breaux; two great grandchildren, Raven Wray and Declan Wray and his five siblings, Earl Breaux, Adam Breaux, Clifford Breaux, Shelby Breaux and Betty Keller.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Rivere Breaux; parents, Stephen and Adele Landry Breaux and his five siblings, Audrey Boudreaux, Hanson Breaux, Clara Breaux and Lloyd Breaux.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part, LA, from 9am until prayer service at 11am. Burial to follow at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church Cemetery.
