Gervis "Dudee" was a loving husband, father, grand father, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. You could often find "Dudee" in the morning or in the afternoon hanging out at Duffy's. He had a passion for cooking and feeding everyone, if you went over to his house you would not leave hungry. "Dudee" also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and doing electrical work. His most proud moments were spent with his family and talking about his grandchildren whom he adored so much.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of fifty seven years, Valerie Breaux Landry; three children, Elizabeth "Liz" Smith, Garry Pierre Landry (Noelle), and Danielle Landry; five grandchildren, Beau Prejean (Alexis), Ava Landry, Elise Smith, Eden Landry, and Owen Smith; two great grandchildren, Riley Prejean and Peyton Prejean; four siblings, Duffy Landry (Myrtle), Audrey Michel (Winston), Diane Lakey (James Paul), and Norris Landry (Donna) and numerous nieces and nephews.
