Elisie "E.J." Edmond Breaux Jr.

He was a hard-worker who enjoyed fishing and spending time at the camp. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was always willing to pitch in and lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mavis Breaux; daughters, Cindy Dedon (Brady) and Julie Breaux (Nate); son, Kevin Breaux; sisters, Maudry Aucoin (Harold), Rita Landry (Gary), Casey Sedotal (Ernest), and Sarah Templet (Elson); brother, Gilbert Breaux (Faye); six grandchildren, Shane Breaux, Meagan Brown, Stephanie Breaux, Aimee Breaux, Colin Breaux and Emily Dedon; and great-grandson, Walker Gray Toups.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Elisie Breaux, Sr.; son, Ted Breaux; sister, Harriet Breaux; and brothers, Clyde and Larry Breaux.

The family would like to give thanks to his caregivers, Cardinal Hospice and the staff for their care and compassion.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 8:30 am until the funeral services to begin for 12:00 pm at New Covenant Community Church in Pierre Part. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Belle River. Pastor Joseph Sedotal will be officiating.
