Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother, cousin and friend. Brenda loved her family unconditionally and always made sure they were well taken care of. She had a heart of gold and was extremely kind and compassionate. Brenda enjoyed getting dressed up, shopping, playing games of chance, visiting and fishing alongside her husband, Harvey. Most of all, Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children, Rickey Hebert, Tony Hebert (Rhonda) and Charla Landry (Neal); seven grandchildren, Victoria Cedotal, Sage Hebert, Brock Hebert (Michelle), Tabby Landry (Cade), Dustin Hebert, Krissy Landry (Justin) and Guy Landry; thirteen great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Tristion, Hendrix, Lila, Mallori, Brooklyn, Hudson, Amelia, Peyton, Adalyn, Aiden, Kyndle and Wrenley; one sister, Barbara Cavalier; three sisters-in-law, Patricia Rivere, Virgie Lee Daigle, Clarice Templet and four brothers-in-law, Stanley Hebert, John Hebert, Roland Hebert and Eric Hebert.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Hebert; one daughter, Carmalita Hebert; parents, Ernest Sr. and Marie Rivere; six siblings, Doris Hebert, Ernest Rivere Jr., Claude Rivere, Lucy Lang, Robert Rivere and Raymond Rivere and three sisters-in-law, Thelma "Tee" Rivere, Alma Guillot and Delores Naquin.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2024 at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Belle River.
