Born on 12/30/1946, Ruth excelled in everything she pursued. Her academic brilliance earned her the opportunity to attend Disneyland on its opening day, a reward for her outstanding schoolwork. Later, she earned an Associate of Arts degree from Rio Hondo College, where her talent shone, particularly in cooking and photography. Her professors admired her exceptional work, awarding her A’s and accolades.
Professionally, Ruth was a trailblazer in Social Security, rising to the role of Assistant District Manager. Her dedication and leadership paved the way for others, and she inspired those around her with her resilience and work ethic. Among her many cherished memories, she fondly recalled shaking hands with Robert F. Kennedy alongside her father, a reflection of her passion for history and excellence.
Through life’s challenges, Ruth was the glue that held her family together. Her strength, love, and unwavering support helped her loved ones navigate difficult times with grace and unity. She led her family by example, teaching them the values of perseverance, integrity, and compassion.
Ruth was not only a devoted mother and grandmother but also a living, doting, and faithful wife. Her marriage was a testament to her generous heart and unwavering commitment. She is survived by Robert, Judy, Atrisco, Rosa, Robert, Cassandra, Kal, Sammie, Jessica, and Tiberius, who will continue to honor her memory by living the values she so passionately demonstrated.
