To all my family, I am sending a big Hug, my thoughts an prayers are with you all.

I was lucky to have my Auntie Chelo in my life, she was so fun to be around.  Spending time at the Gonzales house was a real treat, hanging out with all my 2nd, 3rd and 4th cousins.  I will miss that smile and laugh, and yes even that stern gaze.  I have two great memories I would like to share, one was when my Great Grandma past, Auntie Chelo so thoughtfully knew  I collected dolls and gave me one of my Great Grandma's.  The other memory is of when we were visiting for some celebration many years ago.  My Daughter Chazzlene, Auntie and I will all talking about rocks, and how we liked to collect them.  She was so excited that not only her and my Mom were avid rock collectors, but that it was being caring on by my daughter and I.  So as we were living that night, she picked up a statue of a fairy holding a leaf, that was on her porch.  The leaf was full of rocks, she had collected.   She gave it to us and said " here keep this always to remember me and that you are the 4th generation of rock collectors" .

I still have that statue and all of Auntie's rocks, with some of our own added in.

My sincerely condolences to all the my family, Friends of my Auntie's and Everyone that was connected to her.  I know she is rejoicing  right now.  My Aunt lived a wonderful life, she embraced it fully.   I have so many great memories with my Auntie Chelo.  I knew I could always count on her for advice, support, a hug, anything.  She was funny, strong, faithful and especially Loving.  I was lucky to have spent over 7 decades with her, she will be in my Heart forever.

My fondest memories of my auntie Chelo was when I was a little girl going with my family to visit her and my cousins at her house, if spending time with them wasn't enough...it was the Bunuelos she always had on her dinner table that warmed my heart . Another moment was when I told her I loved the heart earrings that she was wearing, then she removed them from her ears, placed them in my hand and said "I want you to keep them in memory of me"  My auntie Chelo will always be a special memory in my heart .. you will be missed💗💗💗 love Huera

Connie will be missed tremendously. She was a beautiful women with a heart full of love for everyone. I first met her around 1993-1994 she would help my son with school work. She was such an Angel she cared for my son and every child around her . She was a  strong woman that loved the Lord , her beautiful family and friends. 
She always had such a beautiful welcoming smile and in my eyes she had so much peace within her soul that I  know was from the Lord . She will be missed dearly.

Connie, I will miss you.  I used to tell my friends at church that you were an angel, and had such strong faith and a beautiful singing voice.  You were always laughing and had such a positive attitude.  You were the first to welcome my family in 1963 to the neighborhood.  You would come over in the mornings to share a cup of coffee with my mom and share stories and laugh.  Even when you started suffering from dementia, you would escape to spend time with my mom and share your concerns.  Your kids knew where to find you.  When I was younger, I remember telling you how busy I was working  and cleaning. You told me that my son Paul will not remember how clean the house was later in life, but he'd remember how much quality time I gave him.  I always thought that was great advice.   I also remember when I was in elementary school and got bitten by a German Shepard up the street.  You ran over and scooped me up and took me home.  When my mom was suffering with appendicitis, you came over and spent all night right by her side and then took care of me while she was in the hospital. We looked forward to your scrumptious bunuelos that you'd bring over wrapped in tin foil. I remember you always tending to your beautiful roses and how you gave me a rose plant, telling me you remembered these were the roses I had in my wedding bouquet. You would walk to church daily and socialize with everyone after mass.  You were faithful, loving and a wonderful mother.  My brother Ron, my mom and dad and I were so blessed to have you in our life.  The world will be missing a beautiful star, but the heavens will be gaining a wonderful angel.

My name is Lorraine  Barrios I was one of Connie Care Giver . I will always Remember Connie in a very special way . I can still remember up to this date  walking in to her house  Connie sitting in her Recliner watching TV. She will look at me with a Big Smile.  I would tell hi mamitas how are u doing and feeling today . She would give me a big smile and  answer me back by saying Ya . Ya . With a smile on her Face  She will be missed . My Prayers goes out to the Family . 

Consuelo Gonzales.  Was. A very loving mother , grandmother,aunt, sister, daughter and mother-in-law.      She loved all.  Her children  equally.      You could feel her love  when you  were with her.
She was one  of a kind with a smile that would. Light up a room. With a personality.  To
Match.

Her passing leaves a void in my heart.

We live in Wisconsin near Annamarie who is a wonderful dear friend of ours, we were fortunate to have met Connie when they came to visit Annamarie many years ago and Connie was such a delight to visit with, so beautiful inside & out, she surely will be missed!
