William Edward Plummer

Salem, SC – Mr. William Edward Plummer, age 99, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 20, 2021. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late William Daniel Plummer and Elsie Wilson Plummer and loving husband to Helen Mae Fetch Plummer.

Along with his wife, survivors include a daughter Myra Endler (Tom) from Hastings, Pennsylvania, a son William Plummer (Talley) from Salem, South Carolina, a granddaughter and two grandsons. Also surviving are a niece and two nephews.

Mr. Plummer was predeceased by a daughter Colleen Choley, a sister Marian Gruver and brother Robert Plummer.

Mr. Plummer worked as a Pennsylvania State Police Officer and served as a United States Naval Air Corp Navigator during World War II. He enjoyed traveling with his wife in an RV and doing river boat cruises.

No Services are planned at this time. Burial will be at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery 140 Inway Drive Anderson, South Carolina., 29621.
