Mr. Kuykendall was born on March 20, 1944 in Oconee County to the late Elijah Lee and Nancy Lorene Moore Kuykendall. He retired from Mayfair Mills as a tie-in-technician, and in his free time enjoyed camping and fishing. Mr. Kuykendall loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren, and was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He attended Crowe Creek Church of God.
In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Kuykendall is survived by three sons: Brian Bearden (Stephanie) of Pickens, Grover Bearden (Chasity) of Easley, and Shane Bearden (Stacy) of Easley; a son-in-law: John Foley of Easley; a sister: Lizzie Beth Dalton of Norris; fifteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Kuykendall was preceded in death by a daughter: Karen Foley; a sister: Mary Loretta Turner; and a brother: Lewis Moore.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 PM on Friday, March 26, 2021 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday, prior to the service, at the Funeral Home.
