Mr. William Guy Bryant

William Guy Bryant Easley, South Carolina William Guy Bryant, age 88, husband of Mary Boggs Bryant passed away Thursday November 27, 2014 at Pendleton Manor, Greenville. Mr. Bryant was born in Jocassee, SC a son of the late Ella Nora Chapman Bryant and Rufus Brooks Bryant. Mr. Bryant was a decorated World War II Veteran where he received these medals Bronze Star, Good Conduct, Asiatie – Pacific Campaign, WW2 Victory, Army of Occupation, Combat Ifantryman Badge, Phillipine Liberation Ribbon and the Honorable Service Lapel Button WW2. Survivors include his wife of 63 years one daughter; Carolyn Abbott (Tom) of Dacusville, one sister; Agnes Towe of Salem, two grandchildren; Brandi Lawless of Piedmont, Victoria Abbott Marlow (Terry) of Easley, two great grandchildren Zoe Marlow and Willow Marlow both of Easley. Mr. Bryant was predeceased by six siblings. Visitation will be Sunday November 30, 2014 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Dillard Funeral Home. Graveside Service will follow at 3:00pm in Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens. Memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 15 Brendan Way, Suite 100, Greenville, SC 29615.
