William "Bill" Levi Boggs Jr.

Pickens, SC – Mr. William “Bill” Levi Boggs Jr., age 86, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 13, 2021. Mr. Boggs was born in Pickens County, South Carolina and was the son of the late William Levi Boggs and Jessie Mae Banks Boggs and loving husband to Barbara Chastain Boggs.

Survivors in addition to his wife are sons Lee Boggs (Denise) of Stoney Point, North Carolina; Ken Boggs (Kim) of Ocala, Florida; Dan Grant (Lynne) of Pickens, South Carolina and daughter Jean Lark of Pickens, South Carolina. Surviving are brothers Don and Tommy Boggs (Nan) and sister Martha Leslie all from Pickens, South Carolina. Also surviving are 8 loving grandchildren and 13 most precious and adorable great grandchildren.

Mr. Boggs was predeceased by a son-in-law Ronnie Lark.

Mr. Boggs was a member at Northside Baptist Church and also attended Grace United Methodist Church. He was not scared of work. Work is all he wanted to do and didn't like retirement. He retired at the age of 72. He did anything with tools and loved to garden. He was a member of the Keowee Lodge #79 A.F.M. and also the Hejaz Temple of the Shrine. Mr. Boggs was the owner and operator of Precision Metal Finishing Company.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park 2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy Pickens, South Carolina 29671 with a visitation to follow at the graveside.

The family is accepting flowers.

Dillard Funeral Home is assisting the Boggs family. Families will be at there respective homes.
