Jack was born in Pickens county on September 25, 1930 to the late Frank and Eva Byers Norris. He retired as a truck driver for the Dixie Lumber company and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
In addition to his loving wife, Jack is survived by a son: Mickey Lee Norris of Berea; two daughters: Rhonda Lindsey of Mauldin and Diana Hale of Easley; and four grandchildren: Amanda Lindsey of Australia, Mark Lindsey of Mauldin, Brian Lindsey of Greenville, and Kyle Pilgrim of Easley.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by a son: Richard Rex Norris; and four siblings: Kate, Ray, Dora Mae, and Wilson.
All services for Jack will be private.
