Easley, SC – Mr. Thomas JB Denney, age 52, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 4, 2022. Mr. Denney was born in Easley, South Carolina and was the son of the late Marion A. Denney and Jean Diane Atkinson Hamilton.
Along with his mother Diane, survivors include his dad Donnie Hamilton, his daughters Samantha Ann Denney (Kevin) of Anderson, South Carolina and Jennifer Byars of Rockingham, North Carolina. Grandchildren: Dalton, Kisslyn, Blair, Macey, Jaeda and Pasleigh Jenks. Also surviving are two brothers Daniel Hamilton (Jessica) of Six Mile, South Carolina and Corey Hamilton (Megan) of Pickens, South Carolina.
Mr. Denney served in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division. He was of the Baptist Faith. His laughter was special to those who knew him and he loved to laugh and cut up. He wanted to be involved with anyone telling jokes or cutting up and having fun. He loved his football, especially gamecocks, and the outdoors. He enjoyed and loved his friends and he had many. He enjoyed exploring the outdoors and his adventures up into Horsepasture and Sassafras Mountain.
A family sponsored memorial service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy Pickens, South Carolina 29671 on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2 PM. Military Honors will be presented at 2 PM sharp. The Reverend Greg Phillips will be officiating along with Chad Price.
