Sharon Darlene Cox

Mrs. Cox was a beloved mother, wife and of the Baptist faith. She took great pride in being a homemaker. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family. Sharon had an appreciation for the outdoors and loved camping and boating with her family.

She is survived by her brother, Ronnie Watson; her children, Allen Furr (Sheila), Gail Newkirk, Tammy Mitchell (David); six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Cox was predeceased by her husband, George Cox; her parents, Herman and Ruby Watson; her sister, Patsy Williams and a brother, Wayne Morgan.

A visitation for Sharon will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 10:15 am to 11:15 am, at Dillard Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy Pickens, South Carolina. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 pm at Graceland Cemetery West, 4814 White Horse Rd, Greenville, South Carolina.
