Sarah Helen Bagwell

Easley – Sarah Helen Rice Bagwell, 89, widow of Luther Lafayette Bagwell, passed from this life on Friday, September 25, 2015 at The Magnolias in Easley.

Mrs. Bagwell was born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late John Nathaniel and Mamie Estelle Hendricks Rice. She was retired from Easley Textiles, was a member of Geer Memorial Baptist Church and attended Tabor United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Lane Short (John) of Easley and her son, Danny (Bo) Bagwell (Gail) of Easley. Grandchildren include, LaSonya Bagwell, Brad Short (Tiffany), Kerri McKinney (David), and Steven Brown and great grandchildren, Sarah Katherine Short, Addison Short, Landan McKinney, and Sadie McKinney.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bagwell was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Joyce Brown.

The family will receive friends from 1:45 to 2:45 PM Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens with a graveside service following at 3 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
