Mr. Alexander was born in Little River South Carolina, on February 9, 1927, to the late Clarence and Leota Galloway Alexander. Mr. Alexander proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. After the war he worked and retired at Tinsley Chevrolet.
Mr. Alexander is survived by one daughter: Pat Evett (Don); two grandsons: Randy Evett and Billy Evett (Delia); three great granddaughters: Chelsea Lynch (Wes), Hillary Hyder (John), and Alex Alexander (Colby); one great-grandson Bryson Evett; five great-great grandchildren: Vera Lynch, Jack and Oliver Hyder, Laykin and Lane Alexander; three sisters: Susie Nations, Beulah Keaton (Palmer), and Carolyn Alexander; one brother L.C. Alexander.
in addition to his parents, Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 75 years, Lucille Alexander, and five brothers and three sisters.
A private graveside will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in PIckens.
The family will receive friends on Friday June 21, 2024, from 11:00- 12:00 PM at Dillard Funeral Home.
