Rebecca Lane Harvin

Becky was born in Lexington, NC on October 14, 1944 to the late William Calvin Hart and Glenna Aaron Hart. She graduated from Kings College in Charlotte, NC and pursued post graduate work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Becky was a beloved kindergarten teacher for over 20 year years until her retirement in 2011 from Crosswell Elementary in Easley, SC.

In addition to her loving husband of 52 years, Becky is survived by her sons: Duncan H. "Trey" Harvin II, William Trenton "Trent" Harvin, and Richard Zachery "Zach" Harvin; a daughter-in-law: Crystal Duncan Harvin; and a grandson: William Coy Harvin.

A private memorial service for the immediate family will be held in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Dillard Funeral Home.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks for the dedicated care and devotion of all the attendants from Wren Hospice. Their kindness and compassion were so appreciated, as well as our caregiver from Carolina Caregivers.
