Matthew was born in Greenville South Carolina, on February 13th, 1997, to David and Susan Redding. He was loved by so many. Matthew loved life. He loved fishing, riding his side by side, working on his trucks, playing with his puppies, moving dirt, and, most of all, spending time with his friends and family. He had too many hobbies to count and was good at everything he put his mind to. He had so many friends that loved him and was the life of the party for everyone that knew him. He was everything a husband, son, brother, and friend should be and so much more.
In addition to his wife and parents, Matthew is survived by: one brother, Logan Redding (Stephanie) of Pickens; one sister, Rachelle Hudson of Central; his grandfather, Dean Childs of Pickens; and his grandmother, Sarah Mae Redding of Pickens.
Matthew was preceded in death by: his grandmother, Mary Childs, and his grandfather, Gillis Redding.
Funeral arrangements will take place on Thursday, June 27th at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens with a visitation with friends and family from 2pm to 3:45pm and a memorial service to follow at 4pm.
