Mary J Granger

Mrs. Granger was born in Anderson, SC on March 31, 1940 to the late Clyde Eugene and Lorena Lowie Howard. She spent most of her life as a nursing home worker. Mrs. Granger was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who was loved by all and will be deeply missed.

Mrs. Granger is survived by one daughter: Barbara Vanessa Byrum of Marietta, SC; her grandchildren: Little Lane Byrum and Kent Byrum, Sr.; her great-grandchildren: Sabrina Byrum, Little Kent Byrum, Jr., Jacob Byrum and Abby; one sister: Sarah Ruth Henderson of Liberty; and her close friends that she lived with: Ervin Bryant and Carolyn Campbell.

In addition to her husband and her parents, Mrs. Granger was preceded in death by a sister: Clydette Trotter.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens with Rev. Roy Moore officiating. The family will greet friends following the service in the cemetery.
