Margaret Ellen Beard

Margaret Ellen Beard, 91, passed from this life to the next Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at her home.

Margaret was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma a daughter of the late Lester Rahn and Margaret Burney Schucker. She was raised in Hutchinson, Kansas, and raised her family in North Kansas City, Missouri. In an effort to be near her family she moved to Easley, South Carolina to live out her retirement years.

Left to cherish her memory include a son; Dennis Beard and his wife Sharon of Easley, two daughters; Linda Cassell and her husband Milledge of Pickens, Cheryl Beard of Easley, a sister-in-law; Ruth Schucker of Simpsonville, five grandchildren; Sheri Dubois (Kevin) of Eaton, New Hampshire, David Beard (Nicole) of Alta, Utah, Tracee Clem (Derek) of Greenville, Jason Cassell (Aimee) of Pickens, Christine Morrow of Walhalla, two great grandchildren; Cassandra Beard and Caitlyn Clem.

Mrs. Beard was predeceased by her parents and a brother; Richard Schucker and a grandson; Douglas Beard.

The family would like to thank Margaret's caregivers Cindy and Michelle for helping to keep her in her home as she wished.

Visitation will be held 10 am until 11 am Saturday, November 14, 2015 in the mausoleum chapel of Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens with the memorial service to follow at 11am.
