Mrs. Lonella Vivian Bates McCracken

Easley – Lonella Vivian Bates McCracken, 89, wife of George Allen “Butch” McCracken passed from this life on Friday, April 7, 2017. Mrs. McCracken was born in Liberty, a daughter of the late George and Junia Marie Benjamin Bates. She was retired from Countryside Village where she served as a CNA for many years and she was a member of Golden Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Butch McCracken of the home, one son, Stephen Douglas Thomas of Easley and six daughters, Linda Lester of Greenville, Brenda Waters, Pamela Anderson, Veronica Wimpey, and Renee Elswick all of Easley and Junia Marie Thomas of Williamston. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Monday April 10, 2017 at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens with funeral services following at 11 AM in the Funeral Home chapel.
