Lola Mae Crumpton

Pickens, SC - Lola Mae Sentell Crumpton 81, a caring wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Thursday August 5th, 2022, at Greenville Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Lola Mae was born on January 18, 1941 to the late Lloyd and Lelia Medlin Sentell. She was married to the late Lester Kay Crumpton, and together they had four children which blessed them with seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Lola Mae was a longtime member of Maranatha Baptist Church, and retired as a machine operator from Engineer Custom Plastics. She enjoyed camping with her family and adored her dog, Daisy Mae.

Lola Mae is survived by her two sons: Tony Crumpton (P.J.) and Ricky Crumpton (Joy); one daughter: Teresa Carlisle (Jerry); a daughter-in-law: Virginia Crumpton; seven grandchildren : Tyler and Victoria Carlisle , Zack Crumpton, Daniel, David, and Ashely Dextor; and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister: Ollie Kelly; and a niece: Linda Moore.

In addition to her loving husband and her parents, Lola Mae was preceded in death by a son: Michael Crumpton; and four brothers: Charles Sentell, Norman Sentell, J.T. Sentel and Truman Sentell.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with the Rev. Anthony Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM on Tuesday, prior to the service, at Dillard Funeral Home.
