Karen Durham Cison, age 57, of Pickens, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.
Karen was born in Pickens, South Carolina to the late Leon and Martha Durham. She was of Baptist faith and in her free time enjoyed crafting. Above all else she loved her family and loved spending time with them.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Erik Cison; her sister Shelia Broom (Rickey), her brother Terry Durham (Karen) and her sister Amy Hendricks (Michael), she also leaves numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law Ted and Donna Edwards; her niece Holly Durham.
A visitation for Karen will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm at Dillard Funerals and Cremation, 2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Karen will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
