We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Kacey Rogers, who left us far too soon at the age of 35. She was a loving daughter, devoted mother, and cherished friend to many.
Kacey graduated from Wren High School in May of 2007 where she spent her time as any other teenager, part of the cheerleading team. She went on to pursue her dream to become a nurse, graduating from Chamberlain University School of Nursing in 2013. Becoming a registered nurse was one of Kacey’s greatest accomplishments, she loved her career path and it was no doubt a part of her identity.
Kacey will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious smile, and unforgettable laughter. She loved the outdoors and Clemson football. Though she was confronted with stage IV brain cancer she did not let that dampen her spirit or her love for life. Kacey had a passion for life and lived each day to the fullest. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kacey is survived by her greatest achievement, 10-year-old daughter, Wakely Malan Bell, who was the light of her life. Kacey was a dedicated and caring mother, who’s unwavering love for her daughter never went unnoticed.
She is also survived by her father, Tim Rogers.
Miss Rogers is predeceased by her mother, Jody Rogers, and her brother, Justin Casto.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until 12:45 pm on Friday, March 15, 2024 at East Side Baptist Church located at 920 Anderson Dr Liberty, SC. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm with the committal service to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
At the request of Kacey, please wear bright colors to celebrate her life.
