John Carl Futrell

Dacusville – John Carl Futrell, 72, passed from this life on Wednesday April 19, 2017. John was born in Roane County, TN a son of the late John Henry and Mary Ethel Smith Futrell. He was a retired carpenter and he was a member of Jones Hill Church of God. Survivors include a son, Michael Futrell and daughters, Teresa Cox and Sandra Moore, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Barbara Warf, Sandra Laws, Charlene Mulkey, Brenda Howard, and Elizabeth Pangle and brothers, Herschel Futrell, Winston Futrell, Don Futrell, Earl Futrell, and David Lee Futrell. John is also survived by several special nieces and nephews that he spoiled with “cookie cakes”, ice cream sandwiches, and Pepsi Cola. He will be loved and missed dearly by all. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Jones Hill Church of God from 2 to 3:30 PM with funeral services following at 3:30 PM at the church.
