John W. Finley

John Wayne Finley, 80, loving husband of Linda Reece Finley, passed away on June 22, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Greenville County, a son of the late Fred McSwain Finley and the late Ruby Fowler Finley, John was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed time with his family as well as hunting, fishing, being outdoors and rebuilding Volkswagens.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughter, Amanda Jean Finley of Easley, his son John Justin Finley of Easley, and grandson Conner Landen Finley of Easley. He also leaves behind his sisters, Wanda Jean Hendricks (Wilburn) of Central, and Debra Finley of Easley. John was also predeceased by his brothers, Charles Finley, Larry Fred Finley, and George Brennan Finley.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 25, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Dillard Funeral Home Chapel at 2:45 p.m. with the Reverend Roland Bearden officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
