Jared Alan McJunkin

Jared Alan McJunkin, age 33, of Pickens, South Carolina unexpectedly passed from this life on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Born on March 31, 1990, he was the beloved son of Ricky and Renee McJunkin. Even though he has left his earthly home, he is now home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jared was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Known for his gentle spirit and kind heart, he spent his life devoted to his family. One of his greatest pleasures in life was investing time with his four nephews, Hunter, Ezio, Rider and Jak, who he cherished dearly.

He leaves behind his loving family; his parents, Ricky and Renee McJunkin; his sister, Janet Taylor (Jason); his brother, Jeremy McJunkin (Kayla); his paternal grandmother, Pat McJunkin; his maternal grandparents, Rev. Franklin and Evelyn Lesley, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Jared was predeceased by his maternal great grandparents, Leroy and Lois Crowe and his paternal grandfather, Floyd Delano McJunkin.

A funeral service for Jared will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM, at New Hope Baptist Church, 108 New Hope Rd, Pickens, SC 29671, followed by a committal service.
