Harold James Plant, Jr. 68, of Pickens, met his beloved late wife, Pauline Plant, at the pearly gates of heaven on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
Harold was born on July 14, 1952, in Queens, New York. He was the son of the late Earl and Alice Brooks. Harold was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from Ray Walker Trucking. He had a huge heart, always helping others and was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Pickens, SC. Harold was a handy man around the home who could fix almost anything broken. He enjoyed collecting antique car models and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his three daughters, Donna B. Mansell, Jacqueline Hunt and Leslie Daniel; one son, James Edward Benson (Uda); one brother-in-law, two sister-in-laws, eight grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens, SC.
