Hal Boyd Kelly, 71, husband of Gennis Kelly, went to be with the Lord after a long illness Sunday January 31, 2016. Mr. Kelly was born in Pickens County and was the son of the late Ralph Leland Kelly and Eleanor Evatt Kelly. Mr. Kelly was retired from Duke Power, loved gardening and being outdoors. He also was member of Gap Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Gennis Kelly of 17 years of the home, a step son Adam Gray (Pam) of Six Mile, one sister; Nell Snipes of Six Mile, one brother; Roger Kelly (Brenda) of Six Mile, a sister-in-law; Mary Kelly of Six Mile, a mother-in-law; Lois Smith and three grandchildren; Brandon Gray, Brianna Gray and Madison Gray, also survived many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday February 3, 2016 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Dillard Funeral Home, with chapel service to follow at 2pm. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens following the service. Flowers will be received or memorials may be sent in Hal Kelly’s name to Gap Hill Baptist Church Mission Fund 127 Gap Hill Road, Six Mile, South Carolina 29682.
