Born on October 22, 1949, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Billie Jean Wooten Richbourg and the late Fred Lee Sheridan. Mike was a proud U.S. Marine Corp veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War. He served as Chief of the Homeland Fire Department for 10 years and enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting. Mike was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Katrina Wells Sheridan; three daughters, Hope Sheridan (Robert Buchanan), Krystal S. Hendricks (Rusty), and Candace Sheridan; one brother, Terry Lee Sheridan (Jeannie); one sister, Melody Thorton; six grandchildren, Chevis Haynie, Travis Garrett, Charly Freeman, Michael Thomason, Kyle Hendricks, and Cierra Milburn; nine great-grandchildren and three grand-furry babies, Luke, Lillee and Thumper.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home, with funeral services following at 2 p.m. in the Dillard Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
The family will be at the home.
