Eric Ray Sutherland, 29, of Seneca, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017. Eric was born in Greenville County on January 8, 1988 to Kimberly Quinn Roberson and Benji Sutherland. He graduated from Wren High School, worked many years as a pool installer in the family business, and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a wonderful and devoted father to his two children, Davon Ray Sutherland and Raelyn Elizabeth Sutherland. Also surviving are his maternal grandmother, Essie Hardin; paternal grandfather, Billy Moody; two sisters, Danielle Moody Gill and Angel Lei Roberson; Uncle and Aunt, Randy and Caroline Holcombe; and a cousin, Garrett Holcombe. He was preceded in death by one sister, Kimberlin Peach Hall and a cousin, Alanah Holcombe. Receiving of friends will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
