Mrs. Dodson was born in Rocky Bottom South Carolina, on April 10, 1950, to the late Lawton and Lois Gilstrap McCall. She enjoyed being outside tending to her flowers, drawing, and listening to her country and gospel music. Most of all, her greatest treasure was being and mom and spending time with her family,
Mrs. Dodson is survived by her three children: William Dodson, Dale Dodson (Robbin), and Melissa Dodson Moore (Nathan); three grandchildren: Megan Dodson Owenby (Jon), Bailey Dodson, and Chandon Dodson; six great grandchildren: Delaney Owenby, Effi Owenby, Evie Owenby, Tahlia Owenby, Archer Butler, and Leland Dodson; three brothers: Alvin McCall, John McCall, and Tony McCall.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dodson was preceded in death by her sister Betty McCall.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday November 6, 2024, in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home.
A visitation will be held prior from 12:45 to 1:45 PM in the Garden Room.
Burial at Hillcrest Memorial Park will follow the service in the chapel.
