Doris was born in Brevard, North Carolina to the late Marjorie Anderson and Robert Glenn Sitton. She was a faithful member of Elljean Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Zoee.
Doris is survived by her two sons Rick Lewis (Dana) and Rusty Lewis (Teresa); grandchildren Jessica, Jacy Ann, Carson, McCarley, and Graydon; six great-grandchildren; two sisters Linda Crowe and Judy Watson; and numerous family members to cherish her memory.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, David Lewis; two brothers Jimmy Sitton and Bob Sitton.
A visitation for Doris will be held Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Highway, Pickens, South Carolina 29671, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. Doris will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Doris' memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
