Charles “Slim” Sentell Liberty – Charles “Slim” Sentell, 73, husband of the late Judy Duncan Sentell passed from this life on Wednesday October 5, 2016 at Manna Health and Rehab in Pickens. Mr. Sentell was born in Pickens County, a son of the late Lloyd and Leila Medlin Sentell. He was a loyal employee of TTI in Pickens where he served for 51 years and he was a long time member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church in Easley. Survivors include sisters, Lola Mae Crumpton of Pickens, and Ollie Mae Kelly of Central, many nieces and nephews and a special friend, Nancy Regina and family and adopted daughter, Sherry Golden. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 PM at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens and the funeral service will be held 2 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with The Reverend Zack Shaw and The Reverend Dr. Roger Couch officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Jones Avenue Baptist Church, PO Box 1688, Easley, SC 29641.
