Cecil J. Stewart

Cecil Stewart, 64, of Pickens, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, April 24, 2017, surrounded by his loving family at home. Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Jack David and Alberta Elmina Williams Stewart. Cecil was a member of Secona Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon and part of the Joyful Hearts Sunday School Class. Cecil enjoyed camping, traveling, but most importantly, he loved and cherished his family. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Teresa Chapman Stewart; two daughters, Mandy Turner and husband Bart, of Pickens, Christie Dunson and husband CB, of Pickens; two brothers, Clyde Stewart and wife Roberta, of Easley, Claude Stewart and wife Thelma, of Rosmond, NC; one sister, Marie Griffith; five grandchildren, Hannah Turner, Sami Turner, Jesi Turner, Isaac Dunson, and Will Dunson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017, at 3:00 PM at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
