Carlee Owen

Mr. Owen was born in Birdie County North Carolina, on June 26, 1943, to the late Avery and Cassie Smith Owen. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Mr. Owen loved to be outside working in his yard, or watching sports, pulling for the Gamecocks. He loved to be spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Cassie Raines Owen; two children: Michael Owen and April Nabors (Scott); four grandchildren: Matthew Owen (Amber), Mark Owen, Tyler Crowe, and Madison Nabors; two sisters: Hazel Couch and Margaret Finney.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Owen was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Heather Nicole Owen; four brothers: Walter, Willie, J.D., and Bruce Owen; two sisters: Gertrude Galloway and Gladys Norris.

Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Tuesday December 17, 2024.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:45-10:45 AM in the Garden Room.

The burial will take place following the service at Crossroads Baptist Church in Dacusville.
