Mrs. Anita (Jennings) Raines

Mrs. Anita Ann Jennings Raines, 59, passed away on Sunday May 6, 2018, while surrounded by her family at home.

Born on December 13, 1958, she was the daughter of Lila Holtz Jennings and the late Roy Wilson Jennings, Sr. Mrs. Raines was of the Christian faith.

Surviving in addition to her mother is her husband James E. Raines, Jr.; son, J.R. Mealor; daughter, Michelle Jennings Parsons; brother, Jack Jennings (Rene); two sisters, Barbara Jennings Paris and Beverly Jennings Hand (Ronald, Jr.); sister-in-law, Phyllis Davis Jennings; granddaughter, Malory Parsons and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by one brother, Roy Jennings, Jr. and sister Diane Jennings Lindsay.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. in the Dillard Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
