Wing Quong Ong of Phoenix passed away on October 14, 2012. Wing Quong Ong has lived a long and fulfilling life until the age of 83, that's 86 in Chinese years. He was born in Canton, China in 1928 to Gung Goo Ong (father) and Lai Kum Yee (mother). He is embarking on his final journey to rejoin his wife, Fay Fong Ong, and is survived by three sons (Eddie, David, and Ming), a daughter and son-in-law (Christine and Jogi), two daughter-in-laws (Jean and Jieying), and a grand-daughter (Brandi). He wants to be remembered as a hard-working man that, together with his wife, raised a warm caring family and has the fortune of knowing many close and dear friends in his life. He successfully operated New Garden Restaurant from 1971 to 1985. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, artist and Kung Fu movie enthusiast. He also loved eating and cooking Chinese Cuisine and singing Teresa Tang songs. Wing Ong's funeral service will be held at Greenwood Memory Lawn Chapel (719 N 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009) on Saturday, October 27, 2012: Viewing starts at 9:00 am and service at 10:00 am.
