Wilma Louise Altman- Shoemaker

Wilma Louise Sutton was born September 21, 1940, in Cass County, Indiana; the daughter of the late James (Frank) & Ruth Sutton. She is preceded in death by her 1st husband Herbert William Altman of 46 years and then her 2nd husband M. Edward Shoemaker of 4 years. She is also preceded in death by all 4 of her siblings and her 2 grandsons, Dale Anthony Altman & Ridge William Vanderbur.

Wilma was a retired food service worker "Cafeteria Lady" from Glendale Elementary School District. She loved listening to music and spending time with her family and friends. Being a grandma was her favorite part of life. Prior to being diagnosed with Alzheimer's and then Leukemia, she was very active in T.O.P.S. and enjoyed going to church. Her kindness and funny sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Wima is survived by: 3 Children - David Altman, Jeffrey Altman & Brenda Vanderbur (Vincent); 4 Grandchildren - Christopher Altman (Janet), Holly Prussia (Brandon), Haily Parker (Jesse) & Seana Vanderbur; 4 Great Grandchildren - Thomas Altman, Andrew Altman, Camryn Fonnest & Peyton Fonnest.

There will be a Visitation on Thursday, January 27th from 6:30-7:15 followed by a short chapel service. Graveside burial will be Friday, January 28th at 10AM for close family & friends. Located at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona.
