Willie Yee, 89, of Phoenix, Arizona, went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2022. Born in Toisan, Canton, China on August 18, 1932, he immigrated to the U.S. in 1951 and settled in Arizona where he worked in the family grocery business. In 1959, he met and married his wife, Jean Lee, in Hong Kong. They returned to Phoenix, Arizona, where he operated Ranch Market #1 for over 25 years. He was an active member of the Yee Fung Toy Family Association, where he served two separate terms as President. He was also an active member of First Chinese Baptist Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean Lee, of 62 years, children Mae (Eric), Bob (Fay), Margie (Tim), Jon (Anna); and his grandchildren Zachary, Taylor, Skyler, Alan & Amanda.
Visitation will be held on March 19, 2022 from 9-10am at Serenity Chapel at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W. Van Buren St., Phoenix. Service will be held immediately following the visitation.
Donations can be made to First Chinese Baptist Church in memory of Willie Yee.
